Last night I did something I’ve only done once before! I saw the movie “Hotel Budapest for the third time in the movie theater. It was Cinco de Mayo and the luxury movie theater we visit has this mind boggling couches… AND DRINKS… yes, indeed… we had Margaritas on the rocks with salt to celebrate seeing a movie we both were eager to see AGAIN.
This is an extraordinary thing for me, Frau Kolb, because most movies are unbearable dribble… see my words on “Noah,” Biblical Dude… or “Limitless,” or “The Wolf of Wallstreet.” All those big budget movies got me to to the theater… actually only one of them, the first I saw in the theater (Date Night, of course.) and the other two were downloaded on the down low in some hotel breeze by random spree of movie watching… no serious desire… or interest propelling focused attention. Anyway… I don’t do commercial television (I will admit to having enjoyed "Mad Men," for being so historically on-point, accurate… and well written… "Braking Bad,” I saw one episode of… and well… it did not resonate with my sensibilities… Anyway, that is all the television programing I know of…
