Today, artist Skip Snow, photographer Todd Gray, and Frau Kolb teamed up for an intervention in front of Culver City, California's Blum and Poe gallery. The street-performance/dance of "Exchange: Intervention I" was documented by Frau Kolb.

Art Platform vernissage is today. My dear friend art consultant and Art Pad, San Francisco, Maria Jenson is in town for the offering. We love covering art fairs. So… you can expect to see the walking talking grid, Frau Kolb, among the guests.

Thursday! The week is wrapped-up in a neat little package (which only Friday can undo, yet... it RARELY does THAT!). The day is pressed and proper. You love every minute of its crisp reality.
Frau Kolb is hitting her Garage-Studio east of Crenshaw in LA, where she plans on diving into paintings NOT crisp and yet rich with meaning.

Wednesday is a day of knowing. By Wednesday all is clear. We know what the week is about. We know what we did and what will do by the end of the week.
This evening Frau Kolb attended the Pacific Design Center's art openings. It was FUN! We saw lots of familiar faces, including Irish artist, Gary Palmer. Also, Tracey Harnish, Hoffington Post blogger and artist was there, looking snazzy. We even caught a glimpse of Moca Director, Geoffrey Deitch… or someone that looked just like him! (You never know, the universe can be so WEIRD!)

Magical Monday! This week we have much to look forward to. Frau Kolb will be covering the Pacific Design Center Design Loves Art, Gallery Openings; on the 19th of September. Thank you and enjoy the all the little signs of the divine that punctuate experience. Cheers!

Sacred Sunday! The circle closes. You made it this far. You made it through the sea of Sundays that came before and you have arrived at right now. Pat yourself on the back. Clearly, you are the hero of today. In the Jewish calendar today marks the beginning of a New Year! Time to take a dip in the divine surf, allow the waves of nothing new, eternal and forever, to cleanse your sprit. Whatever your background, today is a good day to celebrate being here now. YOU lucky dog!
Below is the digital short of my "World Trade Center Sticker Book," 2001 in New York City. I was in NJ, home on the phone with a pal from London when he told me to go out side. I saw the smoke.
At the same time my dear friend, quasi-father, party mentor, and collaborator–––the now deceased––– and universally missed, independent director, Mr. Franz Harland was running up stairs to the roof of his building, camera in hand. Horrified, he trained his camera on the second plane's plunge into the WTC Tower.
Later, my husband, and technical super support, Dr. Hartmuth Kolb edited the footage. The documentary we made was short and heartbreaking.
The digital video piece that is here is special in that it is a personal memorial to the tragedy and its aftermath (mostly) on September 11, 2012 with a "Sticker Book," a sketch book in which Frau Kolb collected stickers from the streets of lower Manhattan after the WTC collapse. The stickers, tell the story of the traumatic day and the city's pain. Frau Kolb, also pasted in bubble jet printed photos from from news papers, cut out and adhered with purchased patriotic stickers made available during the aftermath which depict firemen as heroes. The video features original eerie morning music by Frau Kolb and was edited and shot by Frau Kolb. This is the first time that one of Frau Kolb's sticker books from 2000, is made public.

Super Saturday! Today is a day unlike any other. I invite you to be extra gentle with yourself today. What does that mean? It means to take things slow. Yet make time to work up a righteous sweat playing, riding a bike, running , dancing, yoga… Whatever floats your boat and will help you burn a few calories and release the burden of history, of NEWS, of mortgage payments, and all the mindless hassles that interrupt healthy flow.
