Frau finds herself in NYC. Met with the inspiring artist, professor of art, and mentor to many Kathy Goodell, yesterday. We paid a productive visit to Bridge Gallery and to Leslie Heller Gallery. Goodell guided Frau to the Orchard Street, Leslie Heller, gallery to see the work of Drew Shiflett.
However, the walk was more than a mere Sunday gallery stroll. It was a touching trip down and around memory lane, with stops at NOW and moments of pure 100% WOW!
We had the best time. Goodell is an artist of unusual gumption. Her personality, style, and strength as a woman, leader, mentor, art guru of far reaching influence. Frau Kolb and Goodell conducted a wonderful interview when Goodell had her solo exhibition at Causey Contemporary in Brooklyn. Goodell is consistently lively and engaging.

The artist, self-published author, and provocative personality, Ola Mañana and Frau Kolb downed a few margaritas at Casa Mezcal, just to keep the Cali vibe UP! Before we jotted cross-town on an epic street sticker harvest. Beautiful New New York sticker book is almost complete.
